Site of the week: Download books for free

This week one of my friends pointed out a great website where you can download free books. The site is called Bookboon, and they offer more than 1000 books which you can download in pdf. Their selection consists out of travel guides, textbooks and business books. On average books are between 50 and 100 pages, however their textbooks seem to be a bit longer, around 150 pages. As a traveler I especially was excited about their free travel books covering many worldwide destinations.

The website looks very fresh and is easy to use. You can browse their categories to find the free book you are interested in. But you as well can simply use the on-site search function. I entered Paris and found a comprehensive guide, with interesting walking tours and facts about the sights. If travel books are not your cup of tea, I’m sure you can find free download books which for sure will interest you. For example their selection of personal development books and books explaining how to use one of the many Office programs. You can download individual titles, but if you are a book junky you can download whole categories in zip-files. Have fun reading!
